CarFest RetroFest 'Upcycle a Picture Frame' Workshop - Friday

Have you ever wanted to upcycle but didn’t know where to start?

Join me, Courtney, at CarFest 2024 to learn how to upcycle a wooden picture frame using Annie Sloan chalk paint.

All picture frames will be second hand and more than likely ugly so we’ll give them a new lease of life!

You’ll learn:

• practical advice to boost your confidence with upcycling
• distressing chalk paint techniques
• about prepping the surface and finishing
• AND you get to take home your painted picture frame.

We’ll also chat about sustainable ways to update items in your home or move things on, whilst saving them from landfill.

I began upcycling in 2018 because I was fed up with paying high prices for new furniture which had shoddy workmanship and materials. I’m now also an upholsterer and hobbyist woodworker through my business The Salvaged Woodshop.
